St Bride's

We worked with St Bride’s to establish a vision for regenerating the existing building. Our aim was to make the building work for the contemporary congregation and the wider community, while enhancing the architectural qualities of this important heritage asset. Architecturally, St Bride’s is unique, being the last remaining classical Georgian church in Liverpool city centre.

The project involves removing some of the less sympathetic interventions of recent years, which have subdivided the internal spaces inefficiently. The proposals will allow for flexible subdivision through the use of moveable glass screens. The scheme accompanied a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund.
