Planning Permission Secured for Extending Historic Monastery
Paul Ashton + HBMA have secured planning permission at committee for the redevelopment of a former Carmelite Monastery in Liverpool. The site is to become a new respite centre and hospice for the regional children’s charity Claire House.
Domestic Extension: Old Trafford
On this project in Old Trafford, we delivered a modest two-storey domestic extension adding a bedroom and improved kitchen space. Carefully considered brick detailing, drawn from the surrounding context, gives the design a subtle yet distinctive character, elevating it beyond a typical domestic extension. We guided the client through every stage, from pre-application discussions with the Local Planning Authority to full Planning and Building Regulations approval, ensuring a smooth and thoughtful process from concept to completion.
